Closed Doors Lead To Open Doors


There are times in our lives
We come to a closed door
It does not always mean that we
Have not heard from the Lord

It may only mean that God
Is changing how we get there
To show to us a better way
That we were unaware

So don’t see this as an end
To the outworking of Go d’s will
The thing that God has birthed in you
He wants to see fulfilled

Just continue to trust in Him
And leave it in His hands
He will work this whole thing out
For it is what He has planned

And as we look back we will see
How God had been our guide
And directed us along the path
Where doors stood open wide

So thank Him for these hard times
The set backs we go through
For it is God who is leading us
To make our dreams come true.

Our Gifts Are For Encouraging

Help us Lord to see ourselves
Through your loving eyes
To see what you see in us
And to come to realize

That everything that we possess
Comes directly from you
The gifts, the talents you’ve placed within
Are there for us to use

To reach with hope to those that hurt
To those who’ve lost their way
It’s your gifts Lord, they’re not our own
So take them Lord we pray

And use them for your glory
So others may be blessed
And have their spirits lifted
And their souls also refreshed

So they can then be challenged
To seek more after you
To be much more empowered
For what ever they may do

For each of us have talents
That God has placed within
So we can encourage others
To have a closer walk with Him

And as we encourage another
We can be encouraged ourselves
For there needs to be a continual flow
And a continual pouring out

And as we do this we will find
Insecurities will disappear
And we’ll be strengthened in His love
To overcome our fears.

God Answers Prayer


I believe God answers prayers,
The big ones and the small.
He listens to our every plea,
He wants to bare them all.

He hears the many prayers we say,
And knows when we can't cope.
He takes our desperate cries for help,
And fills us up with hope.

He wants to mend our broken heart,
And take away our sorrow.
He wants to help us laugh again,
And bring joy to our tomorrow.

Just talk to God and you will find,
He always listens, always cares.
He longs to fill your life with joy,
Say a prayer, He's always there.

THE U IN JESUS

Before U were thought of or time had begun,
God stuck U in the name of His Son.

And each time U pray, you'll see it's true,
You can't spell out JesUs and not include U.

You're a pretty big part of His wonderful name,
For U, He was born; that's why He came.

And His great love for U is the reason He died.
It even takes U to spell crUcified.

Isn't it thrilling and splendidly grand
He rose from the dead, with U in His plan?

The stones split away, the gold trUmpet blew,
and this word resUrrection is spelled with a U.

When JesUs left earth at His upward ascension,
He felt there was one thing He just had to mention.

"Go into the world and tell them it's true
That I love them all - Just like I love U"

So many great people are spelled with a U,
Don't they have a right to know JesUs too?

It all depends now on what U will do,
He'd like them to know,
But it all starts with U.
