Let Me Be A Blessing

Lord, let me be a blessing today,
To someone who needs to smile.
Help me seek out that lonely one,
And stay with them a while.

Let your sweet love show through me,
And show them that I care
I want to tell them of Your love,
That You're with them everywhere.

I will listen to what they need to say;
With them will laugh or cry.
If they are heavy laden,
On me they can rely.

I'll listen to past memories,
News of family or friend.
Things that to them are important,
As time with them I spend.

Please bring someone to mind,
That needs a caring touch.
And may I be the blessing
That they need so much.

And when the day comes to a close,
I'll thank you with all my heart
For the sweet fellowship and smiles,
When the two of us did part.
 

WHISPERS IN THE NIGHT

I am waiting for His whisper in the night,
I’m depending on His Word to give me light,
I’m expecting a victory in this fire,
I am listening for what God whispers in the night.

In the midst of tribulation, seems the darkness has no end,
When my light of faith is fragile like a candle in the wind,
All alone, though I’m surrounded by my friends and family dear,
It’s Your strong voice that comforts me, Your voice that says You’re near!

In Your Word I found my hope, rest from my affliction,
Evidence of faithfulness, abiding love and grace,

If you find yourself stuck in traffic; Don't
despair. There are people in this world for whom driving is an unheard
of privilege.

Should you have a bad day at work; Think of the
man who has been out of work for years.

Should you despair over a relationship gone bad;
Think of the person who has never known what it's like to love and be
loved in return.

Should you grieve the passing of another weekend;
Think of the woman in dire straits, working twelve
hours a day, seven days a week to feed her
children.

Should your car break down, leaving you miles away from assistance;
Think of the paraplegic who would love the opportunity to take that walk.

Should you notice a new gray hair in the mirror;
Think of the cancer patient in chemo who wishes she had hair to
examine.

Should you find yourself at a loss and pondering
what is life all about, asking what is my purpose? Be thankful. There
are those who didn't live long enough to get the opportunity.

Should you find yourself the victim of other
people's bitterness, ignorance, smallness or insecurities;
Remember, things could be worse. You could be
them!!!!

Should you decide to send this to a friend; You
might brighten someone's day!

Zion waits in glory...where none are ever sad!


"I AM Too blessed to be stressed!" The shortest distance between a
problem and a solution is the distance between your knees and the floor.
The one who kneels to the Lord can stand up to anything. Love and
